Happy Saturday Everyone!
First of all, thank you for all the comments on Secret Passion's last update.
I have read them all and will be replying back soon.
I'm also happy to share with you not one but TWO cover reveals!
The first is Leather-Strapped (Longwoods #2)
For those who have read Bow-Tied, you were probably expecting this announcement and that day is here! I changed my mind yet again and have decided to keep Leather-Strapped and the rest of the Longwoods series as a novella although it has been added to greatly based on feedback (about 10,000 words longer than Bow-Tied). I will be sharing the official blurb and preorder information soon for those interested.
The second cover is for a story that is very, very close to my heart. It started off as an original story a good eight years ago, I changed it into an IPKKND fanfic because well, I was and remain a HUGE fan of the show, and then I had to take it all down because it was copied--not once but repeatedly.
Due to popular demand (this is all because so many of you asked for it), I will be releasing Desert Heat--not as a fanfiction, but in its original, updated form.
I wish it could be Arnav and Khushi, but it's been copied one time too many and I cannot go through that again. Seriously I can't.
I hope you enjoy the story in its original form. It will be free on Kindle Unlimited.
For those that want only the IPKKND version, I can understand that, but this is my final decision. I will be releasing the final couple chapters and epilogue with Arnav/Khushi here, however, so those who began the story can finish it.
I hope you all enjoy the conclusion of Desert Heat.
Please keep in mind that it is a historical romance, and even though I hate reading/writing anything tragic, there will be character death(s?) in the finale, keeping the genre in mind. I'm posting this warning after the last major character death lead to some big reactions--RIP Rebel.
(END OF SPOILER)
That being said, I do believe readers of Desert Heat will enjoy the end of this love saga set in the Thar Desert.
And I hope you give Ayan and Mira a chance as well--they were the first characters I dreamt up this story with and it feels right to return to that.
Since there is SO much going on, to recap everything that will be happening.
Leather-Strapped (Longwoods #2) -- September 2018
Desert Heat -- October 2018
Faithless (Heartless #2: the story of David Bianchi): Date to be announced
Shameless (Heartless #3: the story of Spencer Rodriguez): Date to be announced
(Yes... you read that name right. It is Shameless--a heavily updated and improved version)
Lace-Encased (Longwoods #3): 2019
(I've never shared anything about Pyramid before, but it is the first novel I ever wrote. Sixteen year old me's words have been thankfully edited since then but it is a story so close to my heart that I couldn't even bring myself to change it into a fanfic although I did consider doing that once.)
Secret Passion -- ongoing
Omega (Arhi fanfic--who else:) -- coming soon!
So now you all know what I'm planning and juggling at the moment.
Also, I wanted to announce that you will notice a new section pop up on the menu bar soon, titled Blog.
I sometimes have things I want to share or write about--not lengthy chapters--but short posts on things I happen to encounter in the real world. I thought about having a separate site but it's too much trouble.
So I'll be posting on and off about some real-life things. I'm not someone who likes to focus on negativity--so my hope is to share places, food, recipes, I don't know what else, but all things that I LOVE with you.
That's why I'm calling it my Rec List.
If you're not interested that is fine, I will be labeling each of my blog posts clearly so those who subscribe and get an email whenever I update, you will know when it is a blog post versus an update/new book etc.
But I hope some of you do decide to interact through the blog posts. I love getting to know you all and I recognize so many of your names.
Oh, and as far as commenting, I figured out how to avoid the annoying captcha codes/image verification that sometimes pop up when you try to leave a message here. You should first login to a gmail account and then comment here. This way you will bypass all that. You can still post anonymously if you do.
Whew, I think that is all for now.
More on Leather-Strapped and Secret Passion soon! And maybe my first blog post?
Have a great weekend!
ps. Shout out to the person who read Heartless and is looking for their own Luca Violante--Good luck, I hope you find him!
